Solar Auxilia Tank Commander - Art Test
This character is a Solar Auxilia Tank Commander for Forge World's Horus Heresy range of models. It was a part of an art test for the position of Forge World Model Designer. It ended up being a two parter! This post will take you through both tests. The first being a design with only a character description, the second part of the test was focused on refining the design and prepping the model to be suitable for manufacturing.
The model was made mostly using Zbrush and rendered in Blender.

After receiving feedback from test 01, I went back in and studied the other models in the range and tried to setup a refined model based on that
